Namo namo Durge sukh karni. Namo namo Ambe dukh harni.
Nirakar hai jyoti tumhari. Tihun lok phaili ujjiyari.

Durga Chalisa (Verses)

Shashi lalat mukh maha-vishala, Netra laal bhrikuti vikrala.
Roop maatu ko adhik suhaave, Darsh karat jan ati sukh paave.

Tum sansaar shakti lay kiina, Palan hetu ann dhan deena.
Annapurna hui jag paala, Tum hi aadi sundari baala.

Pralaykaal sab naashan haari, Tum Gauri Shivshankar pyaari.
Shiv yogi tumhare gun gaave, Brahma Vishnu tumhe nit dhyaave.

Roop Saraswati ko tum dhaara, De subuddhi rishi-muni na baara.
Dhara roop Narasimha ko Amba, Pragat bhaiin phaadkar khamba.

Raksha kar Prahlad bachayo, Hiranyakashipu ko swarg pathayo.
Lakshmi roop dharo jag maahin, Shri Narayan ang samahiin.

Kheersindhu mein karat vilasa, Dayasindhu dijai man aasa.
Hinglaj mein tumhi Bhavani, Mahima amit na jaat bakhaani.

Matangi aru Dhoomavati Maata, Bhavneshwari Bagla sukh daata.
Shri Bhairav taara jag taarini, Chinn bhaal bhav dukh nivarini.

Kehri vaahan soho Bhavani, Laangur veer chalat agavani.
Kar mein khappar-khadg viraaje, Jaako dekh kaal dar bhaaje.

Sohae astr aur trishoolaa, Jaate uthath shatru hiy shoolaa.
Nagar koti mein tumhi viraajat, Tihun lok mein danka baajat.

Shumbh Nishumbh daanav tum maare, Raktbeej shankhan sanhaare.
Mahishasur nrip ati abhimani, Jehi agh bhara mahi akulaani.

Roop karal kaalika dhaara, Sen sahit tum tih sanhaara.
Pari gadh santan par jab-jab, Bhai sahay Maa, tum tab-tab.

Amarpuri aru Basav loka, Tab mahima sab rahe asoka.
Jwala mein hai jyoti tumhari, Tumhe sada poojein nar-naari.

Prem bhakti se jo yash gaave, Dukh daariidr nikat nahin aaye.
Dhyaave tumhe jo nar man laai, Janm-maran taako chhuti jaai.

Yogi sur muni kehte pukari, Yog na ho bin shakti tumhaari.
Shankar aacharya tap keeno, Kaam aru krodh jeeti sab leeno.

Nishidin dhyaan dharo Shankar ko, Kaahu kaal nahin sumiro tumko.
Shakti roop ko maram na paayo, Shakti gayi tab man pachitaayo.

Sharanagat hui kirti bakhaani, Jai Jai Jai Jagdamba Bhavani.
Bhai prasann aadi Jagdamba, Dai shakti nahin keen vilamba.

Moko maat kashth ati ghero, Tum bin kaun harai dukh mero.
Asha trishna nipat sataave, Moh madaadik sab vinashaave.

Shatru naash keejay Maharani, Sumiron ikchit tumhe Bhavani.
Karo kripa he maat dayala, Riddhi-siddhi de karahu nihaala.

Jab lagi jiyun daya phal paun, Tumhara yash main sada sunaoon.
Durga Chaleesa jo nit gaave, Sab sukh bhog param pad paave.

Devidas sharan nij jani, Karhu kripa Jagdamba Bhavani.
