In the Kali Yuga, Lord Hanuman is known as the deity who grants immediate results. He is the king of devotees and helps those who seek his refuge without delay. His Panchmukhi form is considered highly effective in providing quick results in this age. When problems become so overwhelming that no solution seems visible, worshipping Lord Hanuman in his Panchmukhi form brings immediate relief. The Panchmukhi Form of Hanuman

According to some beliefs, during the war between Lord Ram and Ravan, Ravan sought the help of Ahiravan. Ahiravan captured Lord Ram and his brother Lakshman and hid them in the underworld while they were resting. Hanumanji searched for them and when he reached the underworld, he defeated Makardhwaj.

Then, he fought Ahiravan. Ahiravan had five lamps placed in five different directions, and he had a boon that whoever would extinguish these lamps would be able to kill him. Hanumanji took his Panchmukhi form, extinguished the lamps, and killed Ahiravan, rescuing Lord Ram and Lakshman.

About Panchmukhi Hanuman

As the name suggests, this form of Lord Hanuman has five faces. The first face is that of a Monkey (Vanar), the second is Garuda, the third is Varaha (Boar), the fourth is Narasimha (Lion), and the fifth is Ashwa (Horse). Each face has its unique significance:

• Vanar Face: Worshipping this face removes enemies from your life.
• Garuda Face: Worshipping this face removes ongoing difficulties in life.
• Varaha Face: This face blesses with strength and longevity.
• Narasimha Face: This face helps remove the problems caused by the nine planets (Navgrah).
• Ashwa Face (Hayagriva): Worshipping this face grants knowledge and fulfills desires.

How to Perform the Puja?

Performing Panchmukhi Hanuman Puja brings many benefits. A home with a Panchmukhi Hanuman idol will be free of vastu dosha (flaws). According to some beliefs, place the idol of Hanuman in the southwest direction of the house. If you are praying for success in legal matters, ensure you recite Lord Hanuman’s Kavach as part of the puja.

For success in business or career, chant the Ram Raksha Stotra along with the Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mantra. Offer laddus as prasad to Lord Hanuman.

Placing an idol or picture of Panchmukhi Hanuman in your home will remove malefic influences from Mars, Saturn, ancestral spirits, and ghosts.

Chanting Mantras to Please Hanuman

By chanting the Panchmukhi Hanuman mantras, you can avoid the effects of the evil eye and alleviate doshas of Mars and Saturn. Different mantras should be recited for specific problems. After performing the puja on Tuesday, recite one of the following mantras to resolve any issue:

If you feel fearful, chant:
“Ham Hanumate Namah”

If affected by the evil eye, chant:
“Hanuman Anjani Suno Vayuputra Mahabalah, Akasmad Agato Utpanta Nashayas Hu Namostute”

To fulfill an unfulfilled wish, chant:
“Om Ham Hanumate Rudratmakaya Hum Phat”

For those burdened with debt, chant:
“Om Namoh Hanumate Aveshaya Aveshaya Swaha”

To overcome obstacles and difficulties, chant:
“Om Namoh Hanumate Rudravataraya Sarvashatrusamharnaya Sarvarogharaya Sarvavashikaranaya Ramdootaya Swaha”

 

 

Rules for Chanting Mantra

• Bathe in the morning and wear clean clothes. Place the Panchmukhi Hanuman idol or image on a red cloth.
• Worship Lord Hanuman and light a ghee lamp that burns throughout the chanting.
• Afterward, begin chanting the appropriate mantra based on your issue. Chant at least five malas using a rudraksha mala.
