- On the day of Paush Purnima fast, after taking a bath in the morning, make five heaps of wheat and grains and install Lord Vishnu, the Sun, Rudra, Brahma Ji, and Goddess Lakshmi on them.
- If you do not have pictures of any of these deities, meditate on them and place one flower on each heap in their name.
- Then worship them in order, light a ghee lamp, and offer sesame seeds, jaggery, and fruits as prasad to the deities.
- Now perform the Aarti and donate these grains to a poor person or a Brahmin the next day.
- In the evening on Paush Purnima Fast 2026, prepare kheer, offer it to Goddess Lakshmi, and perform Aarti. Doing this removes sorrow and poverty from the home and brings happiness to the family.
