Mantras have immense power. If you recite any mantra with full devotion and faith, its results are obtained immediately. In the Vedas and Puranas, the Gayatri mantra is described as the most supreme. The Vedas state that the Gayatri mantra consists of 24 syllables, each representing a deity. Each of these deities also has a specific Gayatri mantra. It is said that by reciting the Gayatri mantra for a particular deity according to one's desire, and then reciting a full mala of the Gayatri mantra, all types of wishes are fulfilled instantly.

24 syllables and 24 great powers

The Gayatri mantra consists of 24 syllables, each considered an embodiment of a great power. These include the powers of Ganesh, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Narasimha, Shiva, Krishna, Radha, Agni, Indra, Saraswati, Durga, Hanuman, Earth, Sun, Ram, Sita, Moon, Yama, Brahma, Varuna, Narayana, Hayagriva, Hamsa, and Tulsi. Different types of prayers and blessings for fulfilling desires are sought from these various powers. According to the great Gayatri devotee Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, an individual can obtain all their desires through these powers. Each power has its own Gayatri mantra, and reciting these mantras followed by the Gayatri mantra is recommended. The Gayatri mantra is considered the great mantra because it is believed to provide life, health, strength, radiance, fame, and wealth.

Ganesh

Narasimha
